Certified Wood Products  was established in 2000 by founders Dan and Diane Haugen. Their passion was forest products which are a perfect building material. Wood products are renewable, biodegradable and sequester carbon.

Dan and Diane built Certified Wood Products to leave a legacy of responsible forest management and stewardship so that our generation and future generations will have the best performing forests, forever. Certified Wood Products is making a difference – one board at a time!

In 2017, Brent Rowan joined Certified Wood Products in a lead sales and procurement role. He quickly saw the value of forest sustainability and stewardship through the Forest Stewardship Council’s® (FSC®) gold standard practices of active forest management. So, throughout the ensuing years, Brent, Dan and Diane have been working towards Brent’s succeeding them when they retired.  The plan was achieved! In March of 2024, Brent and  his wife Jamie purchased Certified Wood Products.

Like their predecessors, Brent and Jamie Rowan feel that business integrity is paramount, and they never want to waver from operating with the highest ethical standards of honesty, morality, justice, fair dealings and love and respect for the uniqueness of all people.
